I'm Mikey Fiume, a director of product. Plenty of products work. The ones I care about are the ones people actually feel, and a lot of that comes down to instinct you won't find on a roadmap.

I've spent over a decade building tech products, and my whole life building everything else. The music, the family, the stories told around Sunday tables in Italian-American kitchens: none of it is separate from the work. It's where I learned to read people and figure out what they actually need.

Music isn't a side hobby for me. It taught me to listen, to feel timing, to know when to push and when to hold back. It's also made me a better builder and communicator.
