Al Volo

3v3 multiplayer arcade soccer in an Italian street-futsal cage at dusk.

In development
Concept art for Al Volo, a neon-lit futsal cage at dusk with low-poly players.

One link to join, playing in ten seconds. No goalkeepers, small goals, five-minute matches with a primo and secondo tempo, and golden goal if it’s level. Empty slots get filled by bots so a match never waits.

The one idea that makes it possible for one person to build. The simulation is 2D and the presentation is 3D. The server runs cheap, deterministic top-down physics at a fixed tick. The browser renders that as a dusk-lit Three.js scene with chunky low-poly players, neon trails, floodlights and a crowd. Rocket League feel is tuning, not physics complexity.

Where it stands. The shared simulation, the Colyseus rooms and the renderer exist. It’s not playable in public yet. When it is, it’ll be here first.
